Shop Front Glass Replacement
We replace broken and damaged glass in wooden shop fronts and windows across London and the South East. If a pane in your shop front has cracked, been put through, or the old putty has failed and let the glass loosen, we can take it out and re-glaze it properly.
We work mainly on timber-framed shop fronts, so the glass goes back into the original frames and glazing bars without spoiling the look of the front. Where the front is in daily public use we fit toughened safety glass to meet the glazing rules. On older fronts we match the type and finish of the original glass as closely as we can.
What we do
- Replacing cracked, broken or misted glass in timber shop fronts
- Re-glazing loose panes and renewing failed putty
- Toughened and laminated safety glass where it is needed
- Glass in original glazing bars and small-pane fronts
- Repairs to the timber around the glass at the same time
Because we are joiners, we put right any rot or damage to the timber around the glass while we are there, rather than glazing over a problem.
