Toughened Glass for Shop Fronts

Shop fronts at street level usually need toughened safety glass, both to meet the building regulations on glazing in public places and because it stands up better to knocks and break-ins. We fit toughened glass into timber shop fronts, and replace toughened panes that have failed or been broken.

We are a timber joinery firm first, so we fit the glass into a properly repaired wooden front rather than tearing the front out for an aluminium unit. Where the regulations call for toughened or laminated glass in the lower part of a shop front or in a door, we supply and fit it to suit.

Our glazing work

  • Toughened safety glass fitted into timber shop fronts and doors
  • Replacing cracked or shattered toughened panes
  • Laminated glass where extra security is wanted
  • Re-glazing into the original timber frames and bars

If you are not sure whether your shop front needs toughened glass, we can look at it and tell you plainly.
